Clean Board

Simple kanban or scrum projects don't require any filtering at all.

The Agile Tools & Filter configuration allows to disable the search bar and Quick Filters (see Disabling Quick Filters)

By default the search bar is enabled on all boards and backlogs.

The search bar can be disabled in two ways:

• Globally by Jira administrator. This setting can be overwritten for a specific board by the board administrator.
  
  
• Directly on a Board/Backlog by Board Administrator
  
  

Disabling the search bar on a specific Board

A board administrator can access the Agile Tools & Filters using the Board menu (see Board configuration)

The filter can be enabled or disabled by selecting the "Filters & Tools" option.

Global Agile Tools and Filters configuration

JIRA administrator may decide to disable the filter globally.

A board administrator can access the Agile Tools & Filters global settings using the system menu and going to the add-ons tab (see Board configuration)
