The Agile Tools and Filters configuration allows to disable Quick Filters or the search bar (see Disabling the search bar)

By default Quick Filters are enabled on all boards and backlogs.

Quick Filters can be disabled in two ways:

• Globally by JIRA administrator. This setting can be overwritten for a specific board by the board administrator.
  
  
• Directly on a Board/Backlog by Board Administrator
  
  

Disabling Quick Filters on a specific Board

A board administrator can access the Agile Tools & Filters using the Board menu (see Board configuration)

Quick Filters can be enabled or disabled by selecting the "Jira Quick Filters" option.

Global Agile Tools & Filters configuration

Jira administrator may decide to disable the Quick Filters globally.

A board administrator can access the Agile Tools & Filters global settings using the system menu and going to the add-ons tab (see Board configuration)
